William Layton Campbell, 67, of Oak Hill, WV passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2026 at his residence.

Born July 23, 1959 in Oak Hill, WV he was the son of the late Shirley Ray Campbell and Virginia Faye Smith.

He loved to ride his Harley Motorcycle, loved old classic cars and listening to Southern and Classic Rock music as well as Country music.

Along with his parents he is also preceded in death by brother, Victor Ray Campbell; and sister, Donna Darlene Campbell Howley.

Those left to cherish his wonderful memory include his loving sister, Rita Faye Campbell; and 3 brothers, James Edward Campbell, Charles Thomas Campbell, and Anthony DeWayne Campbell (Pamela).

Visitation for family and friends will be held from 12:00 Noon until 1:00 PM on Sunday, October 11, 2026 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel 999 Jones Avenue Oak Hill WV, 25901. In keeping with his wishes following the visitation Mr. Campbell will be cremated.
