William "Bill" James Brizendine

William "Bill" James Brizendine , 75, of Oak Hill, WV died on Friday, October 18, 2019 at the Veterans Administration Hospital in Beckley, WV.

Born October 29, 1943 at Glen Jean, WV he was the son of the late Edward Clemons and Anna Mae Brizendine.

Bill was a proud US Air Force veteran. He was a retired engineer for Domino Sugar

He was preceded in death by his wife, Virginia Grace "Gracie" Hagan Brizendine and a daughter, Jeanette Brizendine

Survivors include daughter, Kathy Brown of Providence Forge, VA; son, Matthew Brizendine of Baltimore, MD; grandchildren, Logan Gaulin, Connor Gaulin, Miranda Brizendine, Emily Brizendine, Elly Brizendine, and Matthew Brizendine, Jr.; sisters, Kitty Farmer of California and Frances Farmer of Ohio.

Funeral service will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, October 21, 2019 at Tyree Funeral Home in Oak Hill with Pastor Richard Allen officiating. Burial will follow at High Lawn Memorial Park.

Visitation for friends will be Sunday, October 20, 2019 at Tyree Funeral Home from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M.

Pallbearers will be Rick Faust, Don Brown, Logan Gaulin, Connor Gaulin, Matt Brizendine, and Matt Brizendine, Jr.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the American Cancer Society, PO Box 42040, Oklahoma City OK 73123
