William A. Davis

William A. Davis, 74 of Oak Hill passed away on Wednesday, October 8, 2025 at his residence.

Born February 23, 1951 in Ronceverte, WV to Betty Peters Davis and the late Danny E. Davis.

William was a 1969 graduate from Collins High School, he attended the College of Mortuary Science and retired from Tyree Funeral Home in 2009. He attended Calvary Baptist Church and a member of the First Presbyterian Church in Oak Hill. He was a member of the Oak Hill Masonic Lodge # 120 A.F. and A.M.

Along with his father he is also preceded in death by his brother, John Patrick Davis who passed away November 3, 1962.

Those left to cherish his memory include his loving wife, Dinah Davis; daughter, Kari Lea Davis; mother, Betty Davis; and sisters, Nancy Braham (Bob), Cynthia Aylor (Frank) and Danna Davis.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM on Monday, October 13, 2025 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Hill with Pastor Greg Swisher officiating. Burial will follow at High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill.

Visitation for friends will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the funeral home in Oak Hill on Monday, October 13, 2025.

Pallbearers will be Sam Jasper "Boss", Bill Pugh, Jr. "Pugh", Bill Pugh III, Gary Tincher "Lover", D.J. Preston, Barry Massey, Tom Rhodes "Bones"; and Honorary pallbearer, Larry Spangler "Snake".
