Wava Jean Wiley Robbins

A Forty-Three Year Love Story

March 21, 1981,The day I met Wava at Three Gables, a place many romances started for folks from the local area. I recall a friend she was with came over and asked me to join them. Shy innocent Gary was reluctant at first but upon a second request, I went and joined Wava and her friend at their table. Small talk started and we had a interesting conversation. It took me a few days to get the courage to call her for a second date. Surprisingly she said yes, and off we went on our journey together, a journey that spanned for 43 years. We both were of the thought that you found that special one and regardless of the circumstances you just made it work, and that is what we did. I am so blessed to have had her by my side all these years. I will think of her daily and miss her terribly. Thank all of you who kept her in your prayers. I hope to have a Celebration of her life in the near future at Pinheads where she was loved by so many.

Thank you all for being her friend. She loved each of you dearly.
