Wanda Josephine (Meadows) Wriston

Wanda Josephine Meadows Wriston, 98, of Oak Hill passed away on Sunday, September 8, 2024 at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley.

Born October 9, 1925, at Kingston, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late Donald and Bessie Meadows. 

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Webster Wriston; son, Donald F. Wriston; and two sisters, Louise Tyree and Betty Potter. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her sisters, Mary Dolinger and family and Loretta Holley and family; daughter-in-law, Regina Wriston; Donald, Valerie, Grant, Derrik, and Geanna Wriston; Jeaenne, Chris, Bradon, and Sawyer Robinson; Robert W. Wriston; son, Robert Alan Wriston; Scott, Natasha, Chole, and Corbin Green; Lisa, Dylan, Kella, and Parker Elswick; Amber, Nick, Harper, and J.R. Mageliacco  

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM on Friday, September 13, 2024 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Hill with Pastor Greg Swisher officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Prosperity.

Visitation for friends will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home in Oak Hill.
