Vera Vivian Campbell

Vera Vivian Campbell, age 100, formerly of Oak Hill, passed away on April 26, 2022. Born September 16, 1921, in Hazard, Kentucky, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Della Bays Bishop.

She is preceded in death by husband, Raymond Campbell, son, Ray Campbell, siblings; Fayette Bishop, Robert Bishop, Virginia Thomas, and John Bishop.

Vera worked as a reading aid for several Fayette county schools, she was a graduate of Oak Hill High School and a member of the Jones Avenue First Church of God.

She is survived by children; Rev Rodney Campbell (Sharon), Steve Campbell, and Joyce Hardin, daughter-in-law, Sandy Campbell, grandchildren; Billy Hardin, Jason Hardin, Jennifer Campbell-White, Aaron Campbell, Seth Campbell, Mathew Campbell, Joshua Campbell, Rebecca Campbell, and Jeffery Cant-Campbell, as well as numerous great grandchildren.

A visitation will be held Saturday May 7, 2022, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill. A graveside rites and committal will be held at High Lawn Memorial Park at 11:15 AM, with Rev. Rodney Campbell officiating.
