In Loving Memory of Tommy Lee Dean
Tommy Lee Dean, 42, of Germantown, Maryland, passed away peacefully on June 19, 2026.
Tommy was born on October 11, 1983, in Evanston, Illinois, to his mother, Kathryn Dean, and his father, James Dean.
He worked as a construction welder and was known for his hardworking nature and kind heart.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Louvine and Arley Tincher, and Della and Robert Dean.
Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Tommy Dean Jr.; his mother, Kathy Dean of Oak Hill; his father, James Dean of Mississippi; his brother, Ronnie Dean of Oak Hill; his sister, Mary Weese and her husband, Dalmas, of Sophia; and his companion, Danielle Ford of Maryland.He is also survived by his three nieces, Bessie Dean, Justice Dean, and Xeriya Hassan, all of Oak Hill; his three nephews, Ernie Arthur of Scarbro, Shawn Dean, and Kashton Geter of Oak Hill; and a special uncle, Ronald Tincher and his wife, Joan, of Virginia. Tommy also leaves behind many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who loved him dearly and will forever cherish his memory.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 P.M., Monday, June 29, 2026, at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel, Oak Hill. Burial will follow in High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill.
Friends may call one hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home.
The family of Tommy Lee Dean would like to express their heartfelt gratitude to all who have offered prayers, love, and support during this difficult time.
Tommy’s memory will live on in the hearts of all who knew and loved him. Though he may be gone from our sight, he will never be gone from our hearts.
