Thomas Williams

Thomas N. "Tom" Williams age 69, of Maple Fork, WV died Saturday, August 9, 2003 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley following a long illness. Born July 7, 1934 at Artie, WV he was the son of the late Murphy Lawrence and Ada Frances Stover Williams. Mr. Williams was a retired coal miner having worked for Peabody Coal Company. He was a member of the UMWA. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald and Rex Williams and two sisters, Annett Stover and Madgeline Williams. Survivors include: Sons, Gary N. of Oak Hill; Webster R. of Beckley and Donald of Maple Fork. Daughters, Janet Joseph of Millers Creek, NC; Katherine Thomas of Blue Ridge, VA; Saprina Williams of Kincaid and Tabith Williams of Maple Fork. Brothers, Gentry of Artie and Lawrence of Beckley; sisters, Ruth Williams of Mount Hope and Doris Stover of Pax. Also survived by 15 grandchildren.
