Teal Seth Bailey, 77, of Clear Creek, WV passed away on Thursday, October 8, 2026 at his residence with his loving family by his side.
Mr. Bailey was born June 23, 1949 in Beckley, WV and was the son of the late Ellis Bailey and Beulah Marie Dunbar Bailey.
Mr. Bailey was a member of Workmans Creek United Methodist Church, he was a former coal miner having retired after 35 years of service, member of the UMWA, he was a avid outdoorsman who enjoyed everything outdoors, hunting, fishing, ginseng, and riding four wheelers. He especially loved spending time with his family.
In addition to his parents he is also preceded in death by his first wife Carolyn Sue Sutphin Bailey; 3 sisters, Betty Bailey Williams, Cordie Bailey Harris, and Beulah Bailey Bilbrey; and brother, George Tex Bailey.
Those left to cherish his memory include is loving wife, Joyce "Kitty" Moles Bailey; daughter, Melissa Moore and husband Gregory; step daughter, Angela French Williams ; son, Brian Bailey and his wife Sarah; step son, Allen Scarbro; 7 grandchildren, Jamie Bailey, Jason Bailey, Shawn Stafford, Tim Bailey, Codie Moore, Amanda Stone, and Christopher Moore; great grandchildren, Calla, Isaiah, Lucas, Teal, Brantley, Camryn, Cannan, Wrenleigh, Oaklee, Liam, Declan, Charlie, and expected Lorelei; sister Georgie Neal; and many loving nieces and nephews who cherished him.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 PM on Tuesday October, 13, 2026 at Ewing Creek Church 129 Calvary Lane Clear Creek WV, 25044 with Rev. Arolette Stover officiating and Rev. Becky Maynor. Burial will follow at the Tyree-Maynor Cemetery in Maynor Branch, WV.
Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to service at the church.
Grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
