Tammy Lynn Porter

Tammy Lynn Burton Porter, 50, of Beckley passed away peacefully on Sunday, March 24, 2024 at Ruby Memorial Hospital in Morgantown, WV.

Born September 8, 1973 in Beckley, WV she was the daughter of Drema Lafferty Gray, and the late Carl Lee Burton.

Tammy was a homemaker and her greatest joy in life was being surrounded by and taking care of her family.

Along with her father she is preceded in death by son, Christopher Porter; and father-in-law, Robert W. Porter, Jr.

Those left to cherish her wonderful memory include her loving husband of 34 years, Bobby Porter, daughter, Ashley Nichole Porter; son, Eric Lee Burton; granddaughter, Sophie Lynn Lottinger; mother, Drema Gray (Richard); sister, Sandra Drennen (Steve); brother, Michael Burton (Sue); mother-in-law Essie Porter; sister-in-law, Stephanie Porter; and many nieces and nephews.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM on Monday, April 1, 2024 at Tyree Funeral Home in Mount Hope with Pastor Jim Bowyer officiating. In keeping wit her wishes Tammy will be cremated following the service.

Visitation for friends will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home in Mount Hope.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations of sympathy be made to Tyree Funeral Home to help defray from funeral expenses.
