Susan Roache Barbera

Susan Roache Barbera , age 73 of, Coral Springs, Florida, passed away peacefully at her home on Saturday, August 15, 2020.

She was born in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on March 22, 1947, daughter of the late Lynn and Valerie Brash Roche.

She is survived by her son, George A. Barbera of Beckley, West Virginia; her daughter and son-in-law, Aimee B. Dunn and Greg T. Dunn of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; two grandsons, Andrew Barbera and Christopher Barbera, of Beckley, West Virginia and one grandson and two granddaughters of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, Bradley Dunn, Kyla Dunn, and Kelsey Dunn. Susan is also survived by her brother and sister-in-law, Dick and Carrie Roache of Oak Hill, West Virginia, and many loving cousins. She was a dedicated mother and ‘Nana’.

Susan worked as an educator for 37 years in the Broward County school system in South Florida teaching early childhood and in elementary schools. She taught hundreds of students over the years and was beloved by them, their parents and her co-workers. She will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Committal will be on Saturday, August 22, 2020 at 11:00 A.M. at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill. Those planning to attend should use proper COVID 19 precautions by wearing masks and maintaining social distancing of 6 feet.
