Shirley Faye Jones Scarbro , 79, of Maynor, WV died on Tuesday, September 08, 2020 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV.
Born September 29, 1940 at Plum Orchard, WV she was the daughter of the late Franklin Cleveland and Ida Jones Bowyer.
Shirley was a cook for McDonalds and a member of the Maynor Freewill Baptist Church.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Anita Scarbro; son, Gilbert Scarbro; brother, Mutt; half sister, Sandy; and half brother, William.
Survivors left to cherish her memory are husband of 56 years, Monoah Junior Scarbro; son, Craig Scarbro (Rebekah); sisters, Jackie, Gay and Sara; brother, Zack Hancock; granddaughter, Samantha Williams; great grandchildren, Gauge Kincaid and Harley Kincaid
Funeral services will be on Friday, September 11, 2020 at 12:00 pm at Maynor Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Larry Brown officiating. Burial will be at Pax Community Cemetery. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Friday at the church.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions be made to the Maynor Freewill Baptist Church, 2701 Sweeneysburg Road, Beckley, WV 25801.
