Sharon Sue Skaggs

Sharon Sue Skaggs, 69, of Mullens, passed away on Friday, April 10, 2026 at her residence. 

Born May 19, 1956 at Bluefield, she was the daughter of the late Jack and Georgie Bailey. 

Sharon was a graduate of Wyoming County Votech. She was a Registered Nurse and was a former employee of BARH and Raleigh General Hospitals and was also a former hairdresser. 

In addition to her father, she is also preceded in death by her sister, Rhonda Lilly. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Don Skaggs; her mother, Georgie Bailey; step daughter, Stephanie Day and Ron of Virginia; step son, Jason Skaggs of Martins Ferry, Ohio; one sister, Tonya Bailey of Lashmeet; one niece, Anna Grace Lilly; one nephew, Kolley Lilly; four step grandchildren, Curtis, Lucas, Mallory, and Jessica Day. 

In keeping with her wishes, she will be cremated, and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
