Sandra Kay Grose

Sandra Kay Grose, 76, of Mount Hope, passed away on Wednesday, March 4, 2026 at Bowers Hospice House, Beckley. 

Born June 20, 1949 at Charleston, she was the daughter of the late Ray and Violet Faye (Fields) Strickland. 

Sandra was a homemaker, member of the Kilsyth Free Will Baptist Church. She enjoyed flowers gardening and was an avid flea market enthusiast. 

She is preceded in death by her parents. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Ernie Grose; her children, Darrell Grose (Carol) of Cartersville, Georgia, Robert Grose of Wallback, WV, Sandra Kay Williams (Barry) of Old Long Branch Road, and Ernie L. Grose, Jr. (Andrea) of Edmond, WV; nine grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; five great great grandchildren; siblings, Mary Lou Wade, Rowland Strickland, and Ronald Ray Strickland all of Roanoke, VA. 

Services will be 1:00 P.M., Sunday, March 8, 2026 at the Kilsyth Freewill Baptist Church, Kilsyth with Pastor Dwayne Williams officiating. Burial will follow in the Pax Community Cemetery, Pax. 

Friends may call one hour prior to services Sunday at the church.

Family will serve as pallbearers.
