Ronald "Twin" Nichols, 93, of Oak Hill WV died on Thursday May 8, 2025 at Holbrook Healthcare Center in Buckhannon. 

Born on October 15, 1931 in Oak Hill, WV, he was the son of the late Clarence Frederick and Dollie Sue Burgess Nichols. 

He was a member of Fellowship Memorial Baptist Church in Oak Hill. He was a member of the United States Air Force for four years. 

He was preceded in death by his four sisters, Mary Burgess, Mildred Burnette, Margie Sneed, and Marth Longino and his six brothers, Ray Nichols, Ralph Nichols, Charles Nichols, Clarence "Jr" Nichols, Robert Nichols, and Ernest Nichols. 

Those left to cherish his memory are his two daughters and their spouses, Tammy (Ashley) Nichols and Melissa (George) Walsh, his beloved twin brother Donald Nichols, grandchildren Sky Nichols, Gerik Walsh, Kara Walsh, Celeste Walters-Walsh, Abigail Walters-Walsh, Carlee Davis, and Kennedy Taylor, and step-son, Jackie (Sara) Webb, as well as nephew Burl (Sharon) Burgess and many more cherished nieces and nephews. 

He was an avid gardener for most of his life and always looked forward to fresh garden tomatoes in the summer. In the latter years of his life, Ronald enjoyed driving the church van and ushering during church services. He was a faithful christian and loved to listen to his digital bible daily. 

The date of his services will be determined in the very near future.
