Robert David Webber, 62, of Wrentham, MA went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on Friday, May 28, 2021. He was surrounded by the love of his life, Rebecca and his daughters, Nicole and Sarah along with their spouses.
Born November 1, 1958, he was the son of the late, Edward A. Webber (Priscilla) and Marjorie Collins (Robert).
Robert worked very hard during his career as a trucker/rigger, specializing in heavy hauling. He was employed by Shaughnessy & Ahern for 25 years and a proud member of Teamsters Local 25 of Boston. He was a US Army veteran.
Robert loved nothing more than spending time with his family. He enjoyed playing with his grandchildren most of all. He loved sports, especially the New England Patriots, the Boston Bruins and Nascar.
He was preceded in death by his son, Robert David Webber Jr.; his loving sister-in-law, Lois Webber; his mother-in-law, Mary E. Lopez and many other loved ones.
Surviving are his wife of 37 years, Rebecca M. (Lopez) Webber; loving daughters, Nicole Heidke and her husband David of North Attleboro, and Sarah Crompton and her husband Jeffrey of Lincoln, RI; his adored grandchildren, Logan and Emily Heidke, and Zachery Crompton; his brothers, William of Fyreburg, ME, Edward and wife Nancy of Walpole, Joseph and wife Debbie of Sandwich; and many cherished nieces and nephews.
Services will be 1:00 PM Saturday, June 12th, 2021, at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Pastor Delmas Wolfe officiating. Burial at High Lawn Memorial Park to follow with military graveside rites. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
Those planning to attend should use proper COVID 19 precautions by wearing masks and observing social distancing of 6 feet.
