Robert E. Adkins

Robert E. Adkins , 77, of Mount Hope, WV died on Sunday, September 20, 2009 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV. Born March 28, 1932 at Clifton, WV he was the son of the late David and Myrtle Newton Adkins. He was a retired saw mill security guard. Mr. Adkins was of the Baptist faith. A son, Robert Gene Adkins preceded him in death. Survivors include his wife, Jovita Calalo Adkins; one daughter, Carol Sue Rhoden of Newark, OH; a step-son, Paul David Adkins of Pittsburgh, PA and six grandchildren. In accordance with his wishes, Mr. Adkins was cremated. There will be no visitation or service.
