Richard Leroy Plumb

Richard Leroy Plumb, 71, of Oak Hill, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at the Beckley VA Medical Center. 

Born January 15, 1955 at Oak Hill, he was the son of the late Wallace Reed Plumb and Wanda Rainwater Chester.

He was a Pepsi truck driver and a U.S. Air Force Veteran. In his leisure, he enjoyed fishing, camping, mushrooms hunting, NASCAR, hanging out with friends. 

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his sisters, Ruby Duncan and Beverly Jones; and brother, Wallace Dean Plumb. 

Those left to cherish his memory include his son, Richard Plumb; sister, Carrie Plumb; brother, Frank Plumb (Linda); sevens nieces, Sue McKinney, Charlie Prather, Stephanie McKinney, Peggy Auther, Bailey McKinney, Christole Thompson, Alyssa Prather; six nephews, Ronald McKinney, Frank McKinney, David Plum, Timothy Prather, Dylan Thompson, and Cody Thompson; and sister-in-law, Deloris Hamilton.

In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated.
