Rhoda Underwood

Rhoda Lueann Honaker Underwood, 91, of Oak Hill, WV died on Monday, October 03, 2005 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV following a short illness. Born May 08, 1914 in Fayette County, WV she was the daughter of the late Rev. Charles Edward and Minnie J. Ellison Honaker. She was a homemaker. Her husband, Col. Jean Underwood; eight brothers, Bill, Dock, Dewey, Shirley, John, Morgan, Sparrel and March Honaker; and three sisters, Hazel, April and Malinda preceded her in death. Survivors include brother, James H. Honaker and wife,Edith, of Oak Hill, WV; sister, Billie Laws of Beckley, WV and several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Wednesday, October 5, 2005, from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM. Services will be on Thursday, October 6, 2005, at 2:00 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Rudell Bloomfield officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV.
