Rebecca N. Wood, 81, of Oak Hill, WV formerly of Fayetteville, N.C., died Monday, June 28, 2010 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, WV. Born November 15, 1928 at Ft. Meyers, FL she was the daughter of the late Walter Dewitt and Vivian Murray Nicholson. Survivors include a daughter daughter, Alma Simpson of Oak Hill; son, Olen; sister, Yvonne Caddell and five grandchildren. Funeral service was held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, July 1, 2010 at the Stedman Baptist Church in Fayetteville, NC. Burial was in Cumberland Memorial Gardens in Fayetteville, NC.
