Reba A. (Wright) Callaway

Reba A. Wright Callaway, 87, of Mount Hope passed away on Friday, July 19, 2024 at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley.

Born January 15, 1937 in Rainelle, WV she was the daughter of the late Elmer and Berta Lee Wright.

Reba worked as a social worker and in her leisure she enjoyed sewing tending to her flowers, reading books, and was a avid painter. Most of all she loved spending time  with her family.

Along with her parents she is preceded in death by her husband Lincoln Callaway; sons, Steve Bennett and Larry Bennett; sisters, Ruby and Retha Wright; brothers, Ersil Wright, Sterl Wright, and Merl Wright.

Those left to cherish her wonderful memory include 2 sons, Charles Bennett (Rita) and Elmer Callaway (Jessica); numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren; and brother Earl Wright (Barbara).

Graveside service with burial to follow will be 2:00 PM on Thursday, July 25, 2024 at Wright Mountain Cemetery on Wright Mountain Road in Packs Branch with Pastor Eric Davis officiating.
