Patricia Ann Stone Renfro, 90, of Mount Hope passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at the Bowers Hospice House with her family by her side.
Born July 24, 1935 in Oswald, WV she was the daughter of the late Clarence Stone and Blanche Farrish Stone.
Patricia worked at Beckley Manufacturing, where she built radio transistors, until the opening of the Hunting and Fishing Warehouse at Maple Fork, which she owned and operated with her husband, Donald Renfro. Her faith was an important part of her life, and she was a lifelong, devoted member of Kilsyth Freewill Baptist Church. In her leisure, she enjoyed singing gospel music, attending church, cooking, and camping—especially cooking outdoors over an open flame. Most of all, she cherished being surrounded by her family, particularly her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great-grandchildren, whom she loved dearly.
long with her parents, she is also preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years Donald Renfro; daughter, Donna Adkins; granddaughter, Michelle Legg; brothers, Cledith Stone, Ernest Stone, Todd Stone, and Jack Stone; sisters, Mary Perry, Betty Thompson, and Freda Cincinnati; and nephew, Ronnie "Roadrunner" Perry.
Those left to cherish her wonderful memory include her loving daughters, Debra McDaniel (Dave) and Denise Renfro; 6 grandchildren, Dennis Adkins (Stephanie), Donald Shuck, Brandy Blackburn (John), Autumn Daugherty (Braxton), Danielle LeRay (Eric), and Jenny Adkins; 10 great grandchildren, Katlyn Bailey, Brianna Epperly, Allison Adkins, Paris Daugherty, RaeLynn Daugherty, LJ Daugherty, Aria Blackburn, Tyler Legg, Amelia LeRay, and Scarlett LeRay; 2 great great grandchildren, Miles Bailey and Tate Bailey; brother, Jim Stone; and sister, Lyda Kessler.
Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, February 14, 2026 at the Kilsyth Freewill Baptist Church with Pastor Dwayne Williams officiating. Interment will follow at High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill.
Family will receive friends one hour prior to service at the church in Kilsyth.
Pallbearers will be Donald Shuck, David McDaniel, Braxton Daugherty, Wally Boyd, Danny Matheny, and Larry Darnell.
In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations of sympathy to be Made to the Bowers Hospice House 454 Cranberry Drive Beckley WV, 25801.
