Born February 27, 1933 in Fitzpatrick, WV. and was the son of the late Billie Dove (DeHart) Abrams and Darby D. Williams.

He lived a long rewarding life deriving untold satisfaction and pride from first being a faithful son, a dedicated husband, and father. His legacy was only enhanced by his unfailing lifelong commitment to his community. A 42 year career veteran telephone man that worked tireless hours at the possible detriment to himself and family. Persevering always and focusing on efficiency to include being a Scout Master, Baseball Coach, life long affiliated and motivated Woodrow Wilson Alumni, church member, Lions Club Member, Telephone Pioneer, member of organizations dedicated to community charity and improvement, and in early years a state National guardsman. He also cherished fond memories of his good times and talks with many extended family and friends from his community and ones scattered across the Country.

Pat was preceded in death by his cherished wife, Betty D. Blevins DeHart; a loving daughter, Jennifer Lynn DeHart; and later in life significant other, Alice White.

His memory will be always cherished by his devoted family his son, Patrick Keith DeHart and wife Mauren; granddaughter, Katie and husband Spencer Edward, one of his best buddies his great grandson, Cameron. Memories are also shared by his grandson, Christopher R. Masterson and wife Maegen; and great granddaughter who was the apple of his eye Hayden; great grandsons and buds, Christopher Jackson and the newest addition a grandson he had high hopes of being another best bud, Dean.

The family would like to give a special thanks from Pat to all the nurses, staff, and Doctors at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill, Raleigh General Hospital, Hospice of Southern WV for there tireless dedication and providing excellent care.
