Opal E. Taylor

Opal Elsie James Taylor, 96, of Oak Hill, WV died on Sunday, January 23, 2005 at her home following a long illness. Born September 23, 1908 at Beards Fork, WV she was the daughter of the late Henry and Nellie Williams James. Mrs. Taylor was a member of the Church of the Nazarene, Oak Hill, WV and was a homemaker. She was preceded in death by her husband, Lonnie N. Taylor and a sister, Bonnie Settle. Survivors include daughters, Agnes Collett of Mt. Nebo and Joan Mankin of Oak Hill, Sybil McCue of Canvas; son, Tom Harlan of Fayetteville; sister, Mildred Payne of Beckwith; four grandchildren, four great grandchildren and four great great grandchildren. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home on Tuesday, January 25, 2005, from 6:00 - 8:00 pm. Services will be on Wednesday, January 26, 2005 at 2:00 pm at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Pastor Jerry Bush officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park, Oak Hill WV.
