Myrtle Hatcher

Myrtle Hatcher, born August 5th 1931, at home in Pilgrim Kentucky. She was the daughter of the late Noah Parsley and Elsie Mae Muncy. Myrtle was preceded in death by her husband James Howard Hatcher November 2011 and her son, who died in Vietnam the 13th of November 1970. Also preceded in death was her sister Dora Aileen Parsley Hall; a brother Joseph David Bianco; and Mary Lee Wooten. 

Myrtle Hatcher was the oldest and last sibling of her family and worked long and hard, all her life. She has not had it easy but she strived in the heart of God and moved forward. She was a mentor to all her family. Those left to cherish her memory includes her first born, Karen Lee Muetzel and Ronnie Hatcher. A grandson, Brian Gallagher, Cindy Gallagher his wife and mothers great grandchildren Bryana, Jamel and Jaylun. 

Among those that will have an ever-lasting memory of Myrtle Hatcher would be all her brother and sisters families and a host of others, I have seen through out my life. 

Graveside service and burial will be 1:00 P.M., Friday, March 7, 2025 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens 5251 Robert C. Byrd Drive, Beckley, WV 25801 with her nephew, Rev. Louis Edmund Wooten officiating. 

 For those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery.
