Mona Leah Walton

Mona Leah Walton, 68, of Fayettville, passed away on Wednesday, June 11, 2025 in a Charleston hospital. 

Born August 9, 1956, she was the daughter of the late Basil Elmore Walton and Marjorie June (Brown) Rose. 

Mona worked as an Administrator for Keeney's Towing for over 40 years.  

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three siblings, Glendon Brown, Lonnie Brown, and Eleanor Zmich; two brother-in-laws, Daniel Treadway and Steve Zmich. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Amanda Cole and her husband, Brian; two grandchildren, Taylor Cole and Addison Cole; siblings, Patricia Keeney and her husband, Frederick, Dreama Treadway, and James Walton; and two sister-in-laws, Freeda Brown and Margaret Brown. 

Graveside service and burial will be 11:00 A.M., Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley with Pastor Ronnie Persinger officiating. 

For those wishing to attend the graveside service are asked to meet at the cemetery.
