Minnie Loraine (Hensley) Mosier

Minnie Loraine (Henlsey) Mosier, 94, of Oak Hill passed away on Tuesday, May 20, 2025 at the Hidden Valley Center in Oak Hill, WV.

Born May 8, 1931 in Killarney, WV she was the daughter of the late Polly Jane (Hammons) Hensley and Elijah Hensley.

Minnie was a proud graduate from Oak Hill High School class of 1947 where she was honored to be the highest ranked student of the commercial department. She was employed by General Electric Company from 1951- 1986 as part of their technical assistance sales group, 32 years of which were spent in Miami, FL in close contact with Florida Power and Light Company.

Minnie married the love of her life Ken Mosier a practicing attorney in Miami, FL and Charleston, WV. Minnie was a licensed real estate salesman and an appraiser in Florida. She was a member of the Easter Star, and Young Republican committee, but the achievement of which she was most proud of was being a born again Christian of the Pentecostal Faith since 1973.

In addition to her parents she is also preceded in death by her loving husband, Ken Mosier; and 2 sisters, Rachel Carrington and Ida Miller.

Those left to cherish her loving memory include her nephew Spencer (April) Miller; and several other nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Graveside rites with burial to follow will be 1:00 PM on Saturday, May 24, 2025 at the Bay Cemetery off of Summerlee Road in Oak Hill with Pastor Greg Swisher officiating.

The family would like to thank the staff at the Hidden Valley Center for all the compassion and care that they shown while Minnie was there.
