Mildred Harmon

Loving mother and grandmother, Mildred Louise Perry Harmon, 79, of Oak Hill, WV died on Sunday, November 30, 2003 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley, WV following a long illness. Born June 08, 1924 at Glen Jean, WV she was the daughter of the late Carl E. and Beatrice Watkins Perry. Mrs. Harmon was a homemaker and a member of the Oak Hill Baptist Church, Oak Hill, WV. She was preceded in death by her husband, William H. "Bill" Harmon, Sr. on Aug 6, 2002; a son-in-law, "Scrapper" Ball; brothers, Lawrence E. Perry, Leslie "Rinky" Bryant and Robert "Pud" Bryant. Survivors include Son: William H. Harmon, Jr. and wife, Patricia, of Hurricane Daughters: Rebecca J. Wood and husband, Robert, of Winchester, KY Betty J. Wilshire and husband, Darrell "Fido", of Oak Hill Beverly J. Oxley and husband, Thomas, of Oak Hill Bonnie J. Estep and husband, Tim, of Myrtle Beach, SC Susan Ball of Oak Hill Brother: Jerry G. Bryant of Garland, TX 16 grandchildren 16 great grandchildren Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Wednesday, December 3, 2003, from 12:30 to 1:30 pm. Services will be on Wednesday, December 3, 2003 at 1:30 P.M. at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. David White officiating. Entombment will be at High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, Oak Hill WV. Her son and grandsons will serve as pallbearers.
