Michael Lawton Bolen, 74, of Mount Hope passed away Friday, December 11, 2020 at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley.
Born January 23, 1946 in Mount Hope, WV he was the son of the late A.M. “Mike” and Doris Kathryn Lawton Bolen.
Michael worked as a dispatcher for Affordable Wrecking Co., was a United States Air Force Veteran, he attended WV Tech where he graduated with a Bachelors degree in computer management and data processing, and loved spending time with his family.
He is preceded in death by his wife of 35 years Vicki Lynn Clay Bolen.
Those left to cherish his memory include children, Jason Bolen (Indy), and Stacey Blazer (John); grandchildren, Josh and Clay Blazer, Kelci Holstein (Zach), Raven, Sawyer, , Kirsten, and Halli Bolen; great grandchildren, Braelynn, Kynlee, and Paisley Holstein; brother, Robert Bolen; and sisters Judith Stover, and Katherine Skeens.
Graveside service with burial to follow will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 16, 2020 at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Beckley.
Those planning to attend should use proper COVID 19 precautions by wearing masks and maintaining social distancing of 6 feet.
