Matthew Allen Vestal

Matthew Allen Vestal, 38, of Scarbro passed away on Saturday, September 2, 2023 at Plateau Medical Center in Oak Hill.

Matthew was born January 14, 1985 in Yadkinville, NC.

He loved listening to music, fishing, camping anything that had to do with the outdoors, and most importantly he love being a dad and spending time with his children and family.

He is preceded in death by grandparents, Bill and Margaret Johnson.

Those left to cherish his wonderful memory include his fiancé, Charlene Crawford; children, Mason Vestal, Miraya Vestal, Miranda Dequasie, Mirissa Dequasie, and Elijah Rahn; sisters, Shannon Vestal and fiancé Jonathan Miller and Amanda Hardy (Charles); brother, Levi Vestal; sister-in-law, Shelley Crawford; best friend who was like a brother, Trey Cummings; nephew, Jacob McMullen; niece, Abbi Kirkpatrick; and other family and friends.

In keeping with Matthew's wishes he will be cremated and graveside service will be 2:00 PM Saturday, September 16, 2023 at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens. Following the graveside the family will have a get to together at Collins Park for all family and friends for all who would like to come.
