Mary Elizabeth (Hicks) Coalson

Mary Elizabeth Hicks Coalson, 80, of Beckley passed away on Tuesday, August 26, 2025 at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV with her loving family by her side.

Born June 1, 1945 in Layland, WV she was the daughter of the late Benjamin Franklin White and Ruby Hicks.

She was a loving mother and grandmother. Mary was a devote Christian of Baptist Faith. She worked in convivence  and property Management all her life. She had a giving heart and would do anything for anyone. She will be deeply missed by all.

Along with her parents she is also preceded in death by Darrell Worrell, Lisa Worrell, Dalton Bell, Jerry Perman McGaha, and Benard Coalson.

Those left to cherish her wonderful memory include her loving sons, William "Bill" Worrell (Michelle Worrell) and Jerry "Sam" McGaha (Jacqueline); 2 stepsons, James Coalson and Buddy Coalson; 10 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren.

In keeping with Miss Mary Coalson wishes she will be cremated.
