Mary Elizabeth (Fesco) Taylor, 96, of Oak Hill passed away on Saturday, September 5, 2026 with her loving family by her side.

Born December 10, 1926 in Oswald, WV she was the daughter of the late Victor Fesco and Mary Zandlo Fesco.

Mart attended SS Peter and Paul Catholic Church in Oak Hill, she retired from Appalachian Power Company with 24 years of service following retirement she worked from Jim Lively Insurance Company for 10 years. In her leisure she enjoyed laughing and talking to others as she never met a stranger, loved watching Dr. Stanley on Sundays, and most importantly she loved being surrounded by her family who all meant the world to her.

Along with her parents she is also preceded in death by her loving husband of 63 years James "Dick" Taylor; and 1 brother.

Those left to cherish her wonderful memory include her 2 loving children, Karen Taylor Cogar of Oak Hill and Robert Taylor and wife Tammie of Fayetteville; 2 grandchildren, Kristina Taylor and Morgan Roark and husband Jordan; 1 step grandchild, Jennifer Toney and husband Rodney; 4 grandchildren, Payton, Blake, Logan, and JJ Roark; 4 step great grandchildren, Amylee Hudson and husband Eric, Tristan Toney and wife Sarah, Kaleb and Jeremiah Toney; and 4 great great grandchildren.

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Friday September 11, 2026 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel 999 Jones Avenue Oak Hill WV, 25901 with Pastor Landon Blankenship officiating. Burial will follow at High Lawn Memorial Park in Oak Hill.

Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to service at the funeral home in Oak Hill.

In lieu of flowers the family asks for donations of sympathy be made to the Bowers Hospice House 454 Cranberry Drive Beckley WV, 25801.

The family would also like to thank the nurses at Hospice for all the love and kindness they showed Mary towards her end of life.
