Mary Catherine Toney Cumbow , 91, of Hilltop, WV died on Saturday, May 11, 2019 at Bowers Hospice House in Beckley, WV.
Born February 19, 1928 at Carlisle, WV she was the daughter of the late Carl E. "Kit" and Winnie Thompson Toney.
Mary was homemaker.
Her husband, William Cumbow and several brothers and sisters preceded her in death.
Survivors include children, William (Barbara) Cumbow of Scarbro, Patricia (Jeff) Shaffer of Grandview, James (LaDonna) Cumbow of Oak Hill, Shannon Cumbow of Oak Hill, Mark (Debbie) Cumbow of Sanger, and Leisa (Gary) Pennington of Pea Ridge; sister, Patsy Speca of Baltimore, MD; brother, William Toney of Beuford, NC; grandchildren, Kelley (Greg) Lester, Larry Cochran, Lori (Jeremy) Blake, Heather (Rolando) Rosas, Amanda Workman, Jennifer (Christopher) Brubaker; and eight great grandchildren.
Services will be on Wednesday, May 15, 2019 at 1:00 pm at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Evan Maynor officiating. Burial will be at High Lawn Memorial Park. Friends may call from 11:30 am until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.
Her four sons will serve as pallbearers.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial donations be made to Bowers Hospice House, 454 Cranberry Drive, Beckley WV 25801
