Mark Anthony Queen, Sr.

Mark Anthony Queen, Sr., 64, of Danese, passed away on Saturday, August 15, 2026 at his residence. 

Born April 6, 1962, at Oak Hill, he was the son of the late, Harry and Margaret Lucille (Rowe) Queen. 

Mark was a former construction worker. In his leisure, he enjoyed hunting, fishing, and being outdoors. 

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his sister, Vivian Liptock; and two brothers, Timothy and Terry Queen. 

Those left to cherish his memory include his companion of 43 years, Karen Stanley; two sons, Mark Anthony Queen, Jr. of Athens and Michael Drew Stanley of Oak Hill; three granddaughters, Savannah, McKinley, and Khloe Stanley; one sister, Debra Smith of South Carolina; and one brother, William Arless "Bengie" Queen of Danese. 

In keeping with his wishes, he will be cremated, and there will be no service at this time.
