Marcia Jean Manley

Marcia Jean Manley, 70, of Scarbro, passed away on Saturday, June 13, 2026 at Bowers Hospice House. 

Born January 24, 1956, at Boston, Massachusetts, she was the daughter of the late Richard and Darlene (Arbogast) Crickard. 

Marcia was a retired math teacher from the Kanawha County Board of Education. In her leisure, she enjoyed traveling, crocheting, going to the pool, attending concerts with her sister, Denise, and most of all loved watching her grandson compete in mountain biking and track. 

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Roscoe and Virgie Arbogast and paternal grandparents, Jonas and Clara Crickard. 

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Lauren Jannotta of Fairmont; son, Jason Manley of Scarbro; grandson, Gabriel of Fairmont; sister, Denise Ware and her husband, Jerry of Bedford, PA; brother, Kevin Crickard of Georgia; two nieces, Chloe Rice and Madison Barry; and nephew, Patrick Ware. 

In keeping with Marcia's wishes, she will be cremated and a memorial visitation will be held from 1:00P.M.-2:00P.M. Friday, June 19, 2026 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel, Oak Hill. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations of sympathy be made to Bowers Hospice House, 454 Cranberry Drive, Beckley, WV 25801.
