Lloyd Edward Baldwin, age 57, of Prosperity, WV, passed away peacefully on November 4th, 2020.
Born on July 9th, 1963, in Johnson City, Tennessee, he was the son of Mary Francis Mullins Baldwin and the late Lloyd Columbus Baldwin.
Lloyd was a member of Bradley Church of God where he served as a deacon and Sunday school teacher. He worked as a truck driver for several years and most recently as a House Parent at New River Ranch Children's Home.
In addition to his mother, those left to cherish his memory include wife, Kimberly “Kim” Annette Baldwin of Prosperity, WV, sons, James Arthur (Shannon) of Prosperity, WV, Lloyd Baldwin Jr (Kristen) of Stanaford, WV, and John “Bobby” Arthur, of Prosperity, WV; and daughters, Lindsey Cole of Sand Branch, WV, Zoey Calp of Prosperity, WV, and Halie Adkins of Prosperity, WV., grandchildren Malena Arthur and Maddox Arthur, both of Prosperity.
Lloyd was loved by sisters, Marie Noble (Dan) of Wisconsin, Shirley Marshall (Daniel) of Mississippi, Theresa Jernigan (David) of North Carolina, and Tracey Garrettson (Perry) of Maple Fork, WV.
Lloyd left behind numerous friends and family who cared for him deeply.
Services will be on November 8, 2020, at 12:00 noon at the Bradley Church of God Gymnasium with Pastor Brian White officiating. Burial will be at Arthur Cemetery, Prosperity, WV. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Sunday at the gymnasium. If you wish to send flowers the family requests they be house arrangements or live plants instead of baskets or standing sprays.
John (Bobby) Arthur, Samuel Jernigan, David Jernigan, Jr., Joshua Jernigan, Andrew McKinney and Jay Pierce will serve as pallbearers.
Those planning to attend should use proper COVID 19 precautions by wearing masks and maintaining social distancing of 6 feet.
