Linda Sue (Canaday) Griffith

Linda Sue Canaday Griffith, 65, of Oak Hill passed away on Sunday, April 12, 2026 at CAMC Memorial in Charleston.

Born August 3, 1960 in a Beckley hospital, she was the daughter of the late William and Phyllis (Edwards) Cannaday. 

She was amazing and a strong willed person. She lived everyday caring and worrying for others. She loved the phrase "Jesus take the wheel" and followed that saying everyday by letting God lead her life. She was the type of person you never had to be scared to talk to. She would listen and help you in anyway she could no matter who you are. She was a beautiful woman and will be remembered as king and resilient. She will be deeply missed. 

In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband, Timmy Griffith. 

Those left to cherish her memory include Mark Griffith, Destiny Griffith, Timmy Canaday, Harmony Canaday, and Michelle Canaday; and her brother, Davy Canaday. 

Funeral service will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, April 20, 2026 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel in Oak Hill with Pastor Ron Sears officiating. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Oak Hill.

Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to service at the funeral home in Oak Hill.
