Leroy Handyside

LeRoy Harry Handyside, 82, of Oak Hill, WV died on Thursday, June 17, 2004 at home following a short illness. Born September 19, 1921 at Halfway, MI he was the son of the late Wilbert and Pearl Johnston Handyside. Mr. Handyside was a retired statistitian for Michigan Basic Insurance. He was preceded in death by his son, William Handyside; sister, Muriel Lawrence; brothers, James, Herald and Walter Handyside. Survivors include his wife, Sadie R. Handyside; a sister, Ethel Snyder of Dearborn, MI and by several nieces and nephews. Visitation will be held at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill on Sunday, June 20, 2004, from 1:00 to 2:00 pm. Service will be on Sunday, June 20, 2004, at 2:00 pm at Tyree Funeral Home, Oak Hill with Rev. Bill Menefee officiating. Cremation will follow.
