Laura Jo (Bowman) Clinton

Laura Jo Bowman Clinton, 50, of Scarbro passed away on Thursday, December 4, 2025 at CAMC General in Charleston, WV.

Born April 6, 1975 in Carrollton, GA. she was the daughter of Glenda Runyon Bowman and the late Joseph Bowman.

Laura graduated from Mount Hope High School class of 93 and worked at Wal Mart and loved spending time with her work family. In her leisure she enjoyed playing with her dog "JoJo", going on cruises and being at the beach as she loved spending time at the beach, and most importantly she loved spending time with her family especially her daughter.

She is preceded in death by her father, Joseph Bowman.

Those left to cherish her wonderful memory include her loving husband, William "Bill" Clinton, Jr.; mother, Glenda Bowman; daughter, Kaylee Jo Clinton; son, Matthew  Steven Clinton; 2 grandchildren, Bentley Clinton and Jacklynn Clinton; sister, Kimberly Dillon and husband (Whitney); brother, Scotty Bowman and wife Mary; nieces, Ashley Dillon, Tiffany Dillon, and Brianna Byrne and husband Ryan; nephew, Isaiah Bowman and wife (Emily); a mother-in-law, Barbara Clinton; and a special sister-in-law, Michelle Clinton.

Funeral service will be 1:00 PM on Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel  in Mount Hope with Pastor Gary Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Beckley, WV.

Visitation for friends will be from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM at the funeral home in Mount Hope on Wednesday, December 10, 2025.
