Larry Douglas Lego

Larry Douglas Lego, 83, of Danese, WV passed away on Sunday, January 25, 2026 at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley.

Born October 10, 1942 in Russellville, WV he was the son the late Russell Earl Lego and Stella Marie Vaughn Lego.

Larry served his Country with service in the Air Force, Army, and National Guard. He last worked for CSX Railroad and in his leisure he enjoyed fishing, hunting, and spending time with his family and friends.

Along with his parents he is also preceded in death by a daughter.

Those left to cherish his wonderful memory include his loving wife, Doris Nutter Lego; 5 children; 1 step daughter; and by sisters, Betty Berry and Thelma Davenport (Freddie).

In keeping with Larry's wishes he will be cremated and a family gathering will be held at a later date.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations of sympathy be made to the Bowers Hospice House 454 Cranberry Drive Beckley WV, 25801.
