Kenneth "Paw Paw" Watkins

Kenneth "Paw Paw" Watkins, 87, of Oak Hill passed away on Monday, December 23, 2024 at the Bowers Hospice House in Beckley.

Born June 25, 1937 in Lochgelly, WV he was the son of the late Howard and Ruth Hash Watkins.

Kenneth was a proud United States Air Force Veteran serving 20 years and 22 days before he retired. In his leisure he enjoyed cutting brush and spending time with his family whom he loved deeply.

Along with his parents he is preceded in death by his loving wife, Anita Doyle Watkins; sisters, Delores Rocherfort, Norma Newton, Annette DeLuca, and Nancy Yeager; and brothers,  Howard "Jimmy" Watkins, Dwayne Watkins, and Marvin Watkins; and special friend, Frank Bolen.

Those left to cherish his wonderful memory include his loving children, Tammy Bowyer (Judith Moses), Shelly Johnson, and James Watkins; 3 grandchildren, Michael Johnson, Jr., Fallyn Wakefield, and Paige Watkins; 4 great grandchildren, Vayda Johnson, Sadie Johnson, Jamison Johnson, and Brentley Johnson; sister, Della Duncan; brothers, Lawrence Watkins (Margaret) and Randal Watkins; and his dog who he loved dearly Bubba.

In keeping with Mr. Watkins wishes he will be cremated and a celebration of life will be held on Mother's Day.
