Kenneth Lee Brown

Kenneth Lee Brown, 93, of Kincaid, passed away on Tuesday, June 24, 2025 at his residence. 

Born September 26, 1931 at Bickmoore, he was the son of the late Arthur and Clara (Duncan) Brown. 

Kenneth was a coalminer and was a member of UMWA. He was a U.S. Army Veteran 82nd Airborne. 

In addition to his parents, he is also preceded in death by his wife, Marjorie; son, Kenneth Lee Brown, Jr.; daughter, Martha Marty Elizabeth Bond and her unborn child; and two brothers, Sebert and Hurl Brown. 

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Karen Lou Stanley and her husband, Mark, John Wayne Brown, Linda Sue Cummings and her husband, Ezra, Cathy Elaine Bass and her husband, Terry, Brian Christopher Brown and his wife, Tonya, and Terry Lee Brown; one siter, Shirley Temple Stump; one brother, Farrel Brown; eighteen grandchildren; and twenty-eight great grandchildren. 

Services will be 12 Noon, Monday, June 30, 2025 at Tyree Funeral Home Chapel, Oak Hill with Pastor Gary Tucker officiating. Burial will follow in Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens, Beckley. 

Friends may call one hour prior to services Monday at the funeral home. 

Pallbearers will be Tony Bass, Terry Bass, Cody Atha, Tom Grillo, Drew Stanley, and Mark Queen.
