Kathryn Ann "Kathie" Wallace, 73, of Beckley, WV, died April 22, 2025, at Appalachian Regional Hospital, Beckley, WV, following a long battle with lung disease.

She was preceded in death by her parents Betty Louise Wyont Wallace and Dolas Alonzo Wallace, both of Beckley, WV. She is survived by her sister Vicky Dolene Roles [Wes], with whom she lived in Mt.Hope, WV; one nephew, Jeffrey Dean Meadows [Sherri], of Mullens, WV. One niece, Trista Lu Ann Roles [Jen], of Mt. Hope, WV; two great-nieces, Brooklynn Noel Meadows [Tim], of Newport, NC, and Kendall Paige Meadows [Hannah], of Ashville, NC. Two great-nephews, Phoenix Hayden Alexander Lafferty, of Mt. Kathie was born in Huntington, WV, where she graduated from Marshall University. She was a retired respiratory therapist. Kathie loved bowling and traveled to many tournaments across the country. She loved camping, spending time with her precious family and was an avid genealogist. She was a bus driver for the youth of her church in Huntington, WV, and later a member of Mt. Hope Christian Church, Mt. Hope, WV, where she was an active member of the women's group. She loved music of all kinds and loved to sing in the church Christmas cantata. She collected Disney movies and knew the lyrics to every song. Kathie collected decorative spoons from her travels in the States, fishing and riding on a fishing boat on the Thunder Bay River in Michigan. She loved board games, crossword puzzles, Suduku, and reading history books, which she collected, and most of all, the Bible. Kathie loved and served the Lord Jesus Christ with all of her heart. She spent many hours making copies of Sunday's sermons for the shut-ins from her church, even when she was no longer able to attend the services herself. She was one of the most selfless and caring souls to grace this earth, her memory will forever be cherished by her family and friends.
