Justin Eric Gibson, beloved father, son, brother, nephew, uncle and pawpaw, departed from this world on March 12, 2024. He was a man of unwavering strength, endless love, and boundless passion for life. As we mourn his loss, we celebrate the remarkable legacy he leaves behind.
Born February 16, 1980. Justin was a true outdoorsman at heart. His love for hunting and fishing was ingrained in his soul from a young age, and it remained a steadfast passion throughout his life. Whether he was in the quiet solitude of the woods or fishing from the river bank, he found solace and joy in nature's embrace. His tales of adventures in the wilderness will echo in our hearts forever, a testament to his adventurous spirit and love for the great outdoors.
Justin Gibson was preceded in death by his grandparents, Bernard and Atha Gibson and Dallas and Agnes Rinehart.
He is survived by his parents, Mark and Tammy Gibson; his grandmother, Myra Gibson; his siblings, Shanda (Anthony) and Britni (Travis); his children, Michael, Ashlea, Harley, Brenton, and Rylee; his granddaughters, Angelina and Amyla; as well as many nephews, nieces ,cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.
Justin will be deeply missed by his loving children who were the light of his life. He leaves behind a legacy of love, kindness, and unwavering support that will live on in their hearts forever.
To his siblings, Justin was not only a brother but also a lifelong friend. Their bond was unbreakable, forged through shared experiences and cherished memories that will last forever.
Above all Justin cherished his role as Pawpaw. He showered his grandchildren with endless affection, creating cherished memories that will be treasured for generations to come.
Justin was his momma's boy and his daddy's world.
Though Justin may no longer walk among us, his spirit will live on in the hearts of all who knew him. His laughter, his wisdom, and his unwavering love will continue to guide and inspire us each day. As we bid farewell to a beloved father, son, brother, and pawpaw, we take comfort in knowing that he has found peace in the eternal wilderness of Heaven, where he will forever roam under the watchful gaze of the stars.

Pallbearers will be Braden Evans, Jacob Evans, Scott Rinehart, Travis Wolfe, Brandon Sexton, and Shawn Laughery. Honorary Pallbearers will be Roger Evans and Brenton Gibson.
A celebration of Justin's life will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, March 15, 2024 at Mt. View Church of God with Pastor Kevin Taylor and Bishop Sam Calloway. May we gather to honor his memory, share stories of his remarkable life, and find solace in the love and support of one another during this time of grief. Burial will follow at Gethsemane Memorial Gardens in Oak Hill.
Visitation for friends will be from 1:00 PM until 3:00 PM at the church.
Rest in peace, dear Justin, You will be dearly missed, but your spirit will forever guide us through the wilderness of life.
