June Marie Underwood
June Marie Underwood, 70, of Fayetteville, passed away on Sunday, March 10, 2024 in a Charleston hospital.
Born January 17, 1954, at Kilsyth, West Virginia, she was the daughter of the late John and Gertrude (Elswick) Morgan.
June was a 1972 graduate of Mt. Hope High School, a former CNA, and was a member of the Kilsyth Freewill Baptist Church since 1974. In her leisure she enjoyed cooking, raising dogs, knitting, taking care of others, and spending time with her family especially her grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by one son, Michael Underwood; brother and sisters, Don Morgan, Mary Alice Wendall, Sharon Trembaly.
Those left to cherish her memory include her husband, Randall Underwood Sr.; her son, Randall Underwood, Jr. (Karen); two brothers, Joe Morgan (Sharon) of Ohio and Darrell Morgan (Robin) of Pennsylvania; grandchildren, Cameron Underwood, Natalie Underwood, Maxwell Underwood, Sierra Underwood, and Issac Underwood; nieces and nephews, Jeff Wendall (Loranda), Ray Wendell, Melissa Ann Athey, Jimmy Sue Mitchell, Trina Rhodes, Alfred Underwood, and Melinda Morgan; special friends, Larry, Vickie, and Holly Darnell of Prosperity, Rita and Steve McMillon of Shady Spring, Darlene Goodwin of Grandview, Carl and Chris Schomel of Zenia, Ohio and Darlene, John, and Goldie Suttle of Oak Hill.
In keeping with June's wishes, her body will be cremated, and a celebration of June's life will be held at her homeplace on Saturday, June 8, 2024.
