Judith Kay (Taylor) Weaver

Judith Kay (Taylor) Weaver, 78, of Fayetteville, West Virginia, was born on June 5, 1947, in Charleston, West Virginia, to Lawson and Reva Taylor. On December 19, 2025, she peacefully went home to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.

Judy was the beloved wife of Eugene Weaver Jr., with whom she shared 60 years of marriage. She was a loving mother to Eugene Weaver III (Melissa), and David Weaver, and a proud grandmother to Ashley Weaver, Naomi Weaver, and Eugene Weaver IV. She is also survived by her sister, Sharon Taylor Smith (Donald). She was preceded in death by her parents and her sister, Karen Taylor Lockamy.

A woman of deep faith, Judy was a devoted member of the Church of the Nazarene in Oak Hill, West Virginia. She had a special love for children and spent many years joyfully serving in children’s ministry. Whether preparing Sunday School lessons, helping with Caravan or Vacation Bible School, or quietly supporting church activities behind the scenes, Judy poured her heart into sharing God’s love. Her influence touched countless children and families and will be felt for years to come.

Judy built a successful career in banking, eventually serving as a district manager, where she was respected for her integrity, leadership, and work ethic. Outside of work and church, she treasured time spent camping and relaxing at the beach, especially when shared with family.

Above all, Judy will be remembered for her unwavering faith, her generous heart, and her lifelong devotion to her family, church, and community.
