Judith Gayle Hughes Bolen, of Oak Hill, West Virginia, entered into eternal peace on Friday, November 6, 2026.

Born on March 6, 1949, in Oak Hill, she was the daughter of the late Raymond and Deloris Hughes.

Judy dedicated her professional life to serving others as a registered nurse in Fayette County. She was known for her compassionate heart, unwavering devotion to her family, and her love of spending time at the beach. Judy was a member of Fellowship Memorial Baptist Church in Oak Hill.

In addition to her parents, Judy was preceded in death by her husband, Robert “Tom” Bolen; her son, Robert “Tommy” Bolen; her grandson, Logan Bradley Tincher; and her brother, Roger Bernath.

Those left to cherish her memory include her sons, Gary Tincher (Brenda), and Roger Tincher; her grandchildren, Lindsay Tincher, Alec Tincher, and Katie Tincher; her sisters, Lana Huff, Kathy Scarbro, and Zetta Bowyer; as well as a host of beloved nieces, nephews, extended family members, and friends.

Funeral services will be held on 1:00 PM on Wednesday, November 11, 2026 at High Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum, 1435 Main Street East, Oak Hill, West Virginia, with Pastor Roger Harding officiating. Friends may visit with the family one hour prior to the service at the mausoleum.

The family extends its heartfelt gratitude to the staff of Rockin' Chair Assisted Living Facility in Lerona, West Virginia, for the love, care, kindness, and compassion shown to Judy and her family during her time there.
