Joyce Ann Sanger

Joyce Ann Treadway Sanger, 77 of Mount Hope passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022, at Carilion Roanoke Memorial Hospital in Roanoke, VA.
Born December 4, 1944, in Oswald, WV she was the daughter of the late Leslie and Eva Treadray Treadway.
Joyce retired from working in Hotel Management after many years of service, she was a loyal and faithful member of the Mt. Hope Baptist Temple, and most of all she loved to be surrounded by her loving family whom she deeply adored.
She is preceded in death by brothers and sisters.
Those left to cherish her memory include her loving husband, Luther Lee Sanger; children Kathy Underwood (Walter), Lisa Mercado (Mike), and Steven Sanger (Theresa); grandchildren, Kim Gunnoe, Matthew Underwood, Leah Shrewsberry, Brittany Coleman, and Kristin Bennett; and 8 great grandchildren.
Funeral service will be 1:00 PM Thursday, January 20, 2022, at Tyree Funeral Home in Mount Hope. Burial will follow at Blue Ridge Memorial Gardens in Beckley.
Visitation for friends will be one hour prior to service at the funeral home in Mount Hope.
The family asks for everyone to wear masks while they are in the building as we all attempt to stop the spread of COVID 19.
