Jonathan Windrom Ratliff

Jonathan Windrom Ratliff, 46, of Oak Hill passed away on Monday, December 4, 2023 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley.

Born July 19, 1977 in Beckley, WV he was the son of Eugene W. Ratliff and Jean Ann Dick.

Jonathan Windrom Ratliff was a 1995 graduate of Oak Hill High School. He continued his education at WVU Tech studying Electrical Engineering. He worked as an electrician. He had many interests and hobbies throughout his life. He was a master blacksmith following in his father's footsteps, an avid hunter, fisherman, and 5th generation trapper, and a self-taught mechanic.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, James W. Ratliff and Hope (Rood) Ratliff. and maternal grandparents, Lawrence E. Dick and Anna (Kelly) Dick.

Those left to cherish his wonderful memory include his loving children, Mason W. Ratliff and Brooklyn Jo Ratliff and their mother Hillary Ratliff; father, Eugene W. Ratliff (Mary); mother, Jean Ann Dick; sister, Adrienne A. Ratliff Hughes; brother, James W. Ratliff; Step sister, Rachel Stover (Randy); and step brother, Roy Richmond (Janetta); nephew, Bryson W. Burdette-Hughes; nieces, Savannah H. Burdette-Hughes and Madisen L. Burdette-Hughes; great nephew, Karsen Lee Dequasie.

A memorial service will be held at Mossy Living Word Church Saturday, December 9, 2023 at 2:00 PM
