Jeremy Scott Clayton

Jeremy Scott Clayton, 45, of Oak Hill passed away on Friday, February 6, 2026 at Raleigh General Hospital in Beckley.

Born January 25, 1981 in Glendale, WV he was the son of Mary Jo Keller Adkins and the late Barry Edward Clayton.

Jeremy was a former coal truck driver, was a avid Washington Redskins fan cheering them on every Sunday, and loved his family.

Along with his father he is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Charles D. Keller of McMechen, WV and Margie Ann Hatfield of McMechen, WV.

Those left to cherish his wonderful memory include his 3 sons, Isaiah Thompson of Wheeling, WV, Dakota S. Clayton of Oak Hill, WV and Nate Gill of Charleston, WV; mother, Mary Jo Adkins of Oak Hill, WV; his stepfather, Frankie Adkins of Oak Hill, WV; sister, Jessica Kupfer of Moundsville, WV; brother, Richard Kupfer of Florida; step sister, Nicole Adkins of Salem, VA; uncles, Chuck Keller of McMechen, WV, Bob Keller of Procter, WV, and Jamie Keller of Wheeling, WV.; aunt, Melaine Thompson of Wheeling, WV.; and 3 half sisters and 2 half brothers all from Moundsville, WV.

In keeping with Jeremy's wishes he will be cremated and no services at this time.
